This was the premiere episode of Archie's Weird Mysteries.
Storyline
Jughead was watching a Television marathon and became a winner of the Television contest and the next day, he went to the TV station and won a potato. Jughead then spent the rest of the day watching television programmes, enabling the potato to take over him and Hot Dog.
The next day, Jughead was behaving strangely by standing in a pot and when Reggie commented on French Fries, Jughead rushed over and took the box of fries and Veronica made a comment on her dress.
That night at Betty's house, Archie and Betty were watching television programmes. Betty was so engrossed in the show that the potato caught her off guard and she was taken over but Archie managed to save her. Afterwards, they decided to talk to Jughead about his new potato 'friends'.
Archie and Betty saw a tied up Jughead and Hot Dog and when Betty saw another Jughead, she tripped over a potato root, fell and passed out. Archie saw two Jugheads and Jughead elaborate on The Great Potato who was taking over Riverdale and the world. Archie destroys all the potatos and left quickly.
At Pop Tate's, Archie saw Veronica, Reggie and Pops who were telling Archie about the potatoes and Archie left quickly in his car, only to find Dilton hiding inside and gave him a shock which crashed his car onto a few trash bins. Archie and Dilton were discussing the source of the potato and went to the television station to stop the potatoes.
At the television station, the taken over bodies of Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Reggie and Pop attacked them. Dilton was caught by Betty and Veronica. When the frequency of the satellite dish was turned on, everyone was back to normal. However, The Great Potato showed up but when Dilton asked Archie to turn on the frequency to the maximum, the potato was cooked and it was gone forever.

Archie: Uh, Jughead? It's nice to see you out of the house there buddy but what's with the pot?
Jughead: Dirt is good for you Arch. It's rich in nutrients that can be absorbed to the feet
Reggie: I'll tell you, Pop makes the best French Fries in town
(Jughead rushed over and took the fries)
Veronica: Ahhhh! This blouse came from Paris!
